A Royal Lawn Wedding at Ramada Udaipur

Two hundred guests, a sunset phera on the lawns and a banquet reception under the Aravallis — inside a classic Mewar celebration on our estate.

When a Delhi–Ahmedabad family chose Udaipur for their daughter's wedding, they wanted one thing above all: every function in one place, so guests could simply celebrate. Across two and a half days on our estate, that is exactly what unfolded.

Haldi and mehndi, by the pool

The celebrations opened with a sunlit haldi and a relaxed poolside mehndi — marigold, music and an easy lunch from Myra. With rooms a two-minute walk away, elders and children dipped in and out at their own pace.

A sunset phera on the Royal Lawns

The ceremony itself took place on the Royal Lawns as the light turned gold over the Aravallis — 200 guests, a mandap framed by the hills, and not a single bus in sight.

Sangeet and a banquet reception

The sangeet filled the lawns with light and dance; the next night's reception moved into a pillarless banquet hall for a grand, weatherproof finale with full AV and a live band.

Why one venue made the difference

Because every function happened on the same 6.6 acres, the family spent their energy on each other rather than on logistics. It is the case for a single-venue destination wedding in a sentence.
