Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace)
The hilltop palace that crowns the skyline above the resort — golden at sunset.
Perched on Bansdara hill, the Monsoon Palace was built by Maharana Sajjan Singh to watch the monsoon clouds roll in. Today it offers the finest panorama in Udaipur — the lakes, the old city and the Aravallis laid out below.
It is the closest icon to the resort and the easiest half-day outing, especially beautiful in the golden hour.
